I've had this blog blank and available for several months now. I couldn't think of anything I wanted to write down. Since my main focus is artwork, I didn't see the need for a blog. However, I recently had some assistance with making one of the videos for my Artfully Yours YouTube channel and due to that, my video script was reworked to take out details of the creation process. I named Fakémon number 012 Boingenberi. The name comes from boing  and berry . This Fakémon is based on the prompt, "boing" + "boysenberry." This is a rather silly one I admit. This piece was quite the undertaking but it was truly worth the effort. I did have a lot of ups and downs with it though: I loved making the standing ears – something about the shape was very satisfying to me. I named Fakémon number 011 Loxofrith. The name comes from "Loxodonta" (Latin for African bush elephant) and "Frith" (Old English for peace and protection) . I named Fakémon number 010 Primitter. The name comes from Primigenius (Latin for Wooly Mammoth) and ritter (German for rider) . The name comes from ombro- , a prefix for rain-related words, and bozu  from “teru teru bozu.” This Fakémon is based on the prompt, " It causes it to rain and flood on opponents when melancholy, which just might be all the time.“ There isn’t a whole lot of exposition needed for this one. This is a bit of a confusing 2-for-1 here. This is my first-ever evolution line. I didn’t have a plan for how the project file would work for evolutions, so I made both of them under the same file. I didn’t know at the time that the time lapse included both of them and didn’t realize that fact until after I was fully done with both designs.
